We’re thrilled to announce that our event Hobbit’s Hoedown will be taking place from November 21st to November 23rd, 2025 once again!
We’ve also listened to your feedback about the challenges of keeping up with so many different social media platforms to stay informed about our event. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce you to our brand-new Hoedown Hub blog right here on our website! This will now be the main source of information for all event updates, announcements, and details. While we’ll still post highlights on our primary social media accounts, this blog ensures that everyone — even those without social media — can stay informed and connected.
While we organisers have started diving into the logistics of HH 2025 and can't confirm too many details just yet, we'd love to share one big exciting change from years past that has already been confirmed. We are extending the game! Previously we've had the Friday night be the introductory, 'not -in-character' evening before the game formally begins on Saturday morning - We've decided to extend the event further into Friday having attendees arrive from midday to have more time in character and get more out of the weekend. This also allows our bump in crew to have more time to set up the day prior without being under the pump!
We’ll be sharing more details about ticket sale dates, volunteer opportunities, and how to get more involved in the coming weeks, so stay tuned right here on the blog. If you are particularly keen on being a helper or member of the prep team leading up to this years event - please make yourself known to organisers!
